Project Type: Sewer Line Replacement, House Cleanout
Customer contacted freedom Underground Plumbing for a sewer line issue he was having.
Scope Of Work:
Upon
scheduling an estimate, we ran the camera and where able to determine the issue was a section of
broken pipe under his driveway. The depth of the pipe was 4ft and a section of concrete was to be cut,
removed, and replaced. Being that the spot repair would only be a section of 3x4 we would need to dig
by hand to do the work. We Provided and estimated cost of $3,500 to do the work. There were many
questions the customer had, and Freedom underground Plumbing was able to answer them all and gain
the customers trust and approval.
No set date was determined as the customer wanted to investigate additional work which would cause a
change in order. We had 3 different meetings at the jobsite location seeing all the best options to go
about the work. The customer decided to take advantage and have us place a property line cleanout per
our recommendations for an additional $1,500. By placing a property line cleanout, the city would be
able to assist if there were any backups in the future, if no cleanout was in place, then it would be the
homeowner’s responsibility to have one installed before the city helps service the line.
Freedom Underground Plumbing installed a two-way ABS cleanout located approximately 2 feet from
the house foundation. We cut, remove, and replaced a 2x3 section of concrete where cleanout was
placed. A Riser was placed 6” before the surface of the ground as well as a cleanout cap for future
access. To protect the cleanout, we installed a new F8 concrete box with a "Sewer" lead to protect the
riser. The work took 2 days to complete with no complications.
